|A Merchant License is necessary in order to open a [[Personal Shop]]. Players must also have an [[Storage_Items_List#Item_Bags|Item Shop Bag]] in which to keep their wares to be sold. Merchant licenses are purchased from any branch of Erskin Bank. Each branch sells a license that is usable in a specific location near the bank. A Merchant License with monetary value on it cannot be reused, regardless of how much has been sold on the license. A Merchant License that has not yet accumulated value can be reused until it gains value. After a shop has been closed, the Merchant License can be deposited at any bank to add the value of the goods sold to the bank account balance. Merchant License that have accumulated value cannot be mailed to other players. [[Premium_Service#VIP_Service|VIP]] Exclusive Merchant Licenses, which double the regular gold limit, can only be used by players who currently have VIP service.
