A wand with Ice Elemental laden in it. Increases the potency of the spells that are ice-related. When holding on to the wand, the body and Mana unites as one, which allows one to perform Meditation while running. Beware that if the wand leaves the hand, the Mana connected to the wand will disappear.

  • An upgraded Ice Wand generally reduces mp consumption and adds chain casting.

※ With the ice wand equipped, you may harvest Ice Elementals from Ice Sprites by right-clicking them and choosing the "Harvest" option.

Note: If the durability is 0 and you have any Wand equipped, you will lose all your mana and Meditation will reduce you to a walking pace like other weapons.

※ Consumes 0.5 stamina per swing.

※ Increases the damage dealt by ice-based spells.

Advice

It's best to upgrade the wand with decreased mana consumption to reduce the strain on mp when upgrading to chaincasting. Also, depending on your magic fighting style, you may want to choose different levels of chaincasting to best fit your needs.

Due to the low mp cost of Icebolt, combined with high rank Meditation and using only the 5th charge of Icebolt, if one only upgrades to decrease mana consumption it's possible to run Rabbie/Rundal with little to no mp pots.

Evaporation is useful if you switch between wands and other fighting styles, as you get to keep some of your mana. It makes chaincasting more expensive, but is potentially worth it.

Wand with mana consumption upgraded will not decrease the amount of mp usage when using Ice Spear.

Spirit Weapon Repair

Repairing a spirit ice wand requires a Spirit Liqueur and a second ice wand with high proficiency. Both of these items will be sacrificed to recover the spirit weapon's durability.

  • "Proficiency" is the proficiency of the ice wand that is used to repair the spirit wand.
  • The max success rate is always fixed at 99%.
  • The following data only applies to a brand new spirit weapon; as the spirit weapon's level increases, there will be different results.
    • Success Rate = 79 + (Prof x 0.4)
    • Recovery Points = Max Dur x ( 0.1 + ( Prof x 0.007 ) )
  • Max durability as used in the formula refers to your spirit weapon's current max durability.
  • Decimals are ignored from computation.
