Housing Channel
From mabinoger Wiki
(Redirected from Flyer)
Houses are player-owned shops that exist in a separate hidden channel that players can get to either manually by travel, or via teleporting there by use of Housing Fliers distributive via the Housing Ad Board. The Return Coupon that gets created can teleport players to the location where the player used the flier; a player can hold more than one Return Coupon, which never expire.
- To find out the details of how to physically travel to the housing areas via maps, please refer to the individual housing areas.

- A House Flier is used to transport the player to the Housing channel.
- Fliers can only be used once.
- Fliers expire 24 hours after the seller starts the ad
- However, if the seller starts a new ad, the expired flier will become usable again.
- A Magic House Key is identical to a Flier except that the Key does not expire.
- Using a Magic house key after a house expires will still return you to that house.
- You can only have one Magic House Key, and one Flier per seller at a time.
- Fliers can only be used once.
- Using a House Flier in a non-Housing Channel area will create a Return Coupon
- Using a Return Coupon will teleport the character to the location the Flier was used.
- This however, only applies to the housing zone that the flier goes to, it does not apply to other housing zones.
- Return Coupons do not expire
- Both fliers and Magic House Keys create Return Coupons.
- It is possible to create more than one Return Coupon if you have the inventory space for it, however the Return Coupon is not labeled where it will send you, and is destroyed once used.
- Using a Return Coupon will teleport the character to the location the Flier was used.
- Fliers, Magic House Keys, and Return Coupons cannot be traded or stored. They can only be destroyed or used.
- Fliers can be searched via Housing Ad Boards or when one enters a House.
- Fliers can be used in both Iria and Uladh, and will always create the Return Coupon.

Housing Ad Board
- Open a housing board. They are only located in Uladh Continent.
- Search for an item or seller, if you don't know what you want, just click search with nothing entered.
- Click the "Receive" button beside the item, this will put the Flier in your inventory. You can take one flier per seller listed.
- Click "Go to the Seller's house" to visit the seller's house immediately. It can also be used at a later date. Fliers expire 24 hours from when the ad was placed.
- The house owner must have at least 1 item for sale for the flier to be available from the housing ad board.
- The owner can ban users or entire guilds from being able to enter the house if they choose.

Housing Ad Board Usage
Return Coupon Rides
To do this, the owner of the Return Coupon must have a mountable pet.
- Party up
- Mount the Return Coupon owner's pet
- If Giants are to be transported, use a Mimic.
- The Return Coupon owner uses the flier while not mounted
This will teleport everyone on the pet to the Return Coupon's destination, but not necessarily to the same channel as the pet's owner. During this process, the pet is unsummoned due to channel change logout.
Places of interest to use the Return Coupon
- Tir Chonaill (Another World)
- Bangor (Another World)
- Forest of Souls
- Ceo Island
- Uladh Towns
- Difficult to travel to places in Iria
Flier Tricks
- Take Elves or Giants (and allied players) to weddings where they would normally be attacked on site. (They must remount the pet before the player enters wedding.)
- Take Elves or Giants to do Baol Dungeon G3 final
- Take Elves or Giants to do Albey Dungeon G1 final or Black orb
- Take a full party of 8 to do Albey Dungeon Gemstone dungeons
- Make the G2 Ideal Types quest substantially shorter.
- Take a low level player to a hard mode dungeon lobby. (They cannot enter the hardmode dungeon unless their total level is 250.)
- Exit any dungeon immediately (penalty will still apply), useful for Barri mining runs.
Bugs and Quirks
- The return ticket holder must not mount the pet. Doing so will cause both the return ticket holder and the passengers to unmount. This is not a bug, but intentional, since the pet would normally be unsummoned on channel change.
- There is a high potential for being logged out when using the flier during busy periods of the day (especially on Saturday during guild battle times.)
- Players on the pet will be sent to the least busy channel of numerical order (1 if not busy, 2 if 1 is, 3 if 1 and 2 are, etc) at the moment the player with the return coupon selects a channel. If all channels are listed as Busy or none are, this will be channel 1. All passengers will arrive on the same channel.
- As of the introduction of Friend Summons Capsule, to teleport via flier is slower than simply summoning using a Friend Summons Capsule. However fliers only require a mountable pet. No alliance or NX necessary.
