Basic Info

  • Using Exploration Tools and the L-Rod Exploration action, you may uncover treasure chests in Iria.
  • Occasionally monsters may spawn with the uncovered chest. You must defeat the monsters for the chest key.
    • You must defeat all of the monsters in order to open the chest, even if you have the key.
    • There is an unknown time limit to defeat them all. If you fail, then the monsters and chest will disappear.
  • Only chests in Rano give you the items listed below. Treasure chests in Courcle will almost always only give you Excavated Artifacts; items listed below are extremely rare.
  • Treasure chests containing the items listed below are rarely found throughout Rano.
  • For some reason there is a programming error for Courcle treasure boxes. Instead of each individual box disappearing after a minute or so, any box currently revealed is reset, even boxes that have not been open. This gives the illusion that some boxes vanish immediately while others stay on the screen for a long time, but the reset time is approximately one minute real time. On the plus side, it is possible to time the reset time and avoid uncovering a chest until after it has passed.
